Welcome to my little section of the web.  On this site one will find a listing of stamps, seals, etc., that depict birds.  Most of the items listed will not be found in the standard annual catalogs issued by Gibbon's, Michel, Scott or Yvert.  Some are listed in specialized catalogs.  Most of those catalogs, however,  are outdated and incomplete.  Many traditional philatelists consider this type of material to be spurious and therefore produced exclusively to bilk the topical collector.  I make no judgment on the legitimacy or value of the listed items.  Each collector should decide what should or should not be included in his or her collection.  I welcome your comments, questions, additions  and most importantly any corrections to my lists.  

A word about the catalog numbers.  When available, I have attempted to use numbers from the various specialized catalogs.  Where no catalogs were available, I use my personal reference numbers which are always prefaced with the letter "H."
