About
Me
I began collecting stamps in 1956 at the age of eleven.
Over the intervening years
my interests have changed from collecting exclusively U.S. material to include a
wide range of diverse and interesting
topics.
In
1977, I decided to give topical or thematic collecting a try and focused on the
subject of Birds. Now, some
30 years
later my interest in bird stamps is as strong as ever and my reference collection numbers well
over 39,000 items. In addition to
the conventional bird stamps so abundantly produced by the U.P.U. members, I
collect locals, various seals and postal stationery.
The main purpose of this site is to assist other
bird stamp collectors in identifying some of the more unusual material available on the
philatelic market. I am not a stamp
dealer. Over the years, however, I have built up a rather large accumulation of
duplicates. In fact, I have a whole
room full of stamps and covers. Check out
my stamp room by clicking on the thumbnails below.

If you are looking for a difficult to find single or set, just
ask. I may
just have that elusive stamp you are looking for. I probably have
something in just about every imaginable topic.
